Elements to check

Check the following on the computer:

  • No services have been stopped

  • The date on the computer is not incorrect (e.g. 29/2/1980).

Solution

If, after having checked the aspects listed above, the problem persists, it is the server that is causing it.

Symptoms

Error 1287 integrating or sending status information to the server. The message displayed is:

The process is in execution

Cause

The error occurs because another instance of the WALTest local process is already running.

In theory, this is not dangerous, as the error is returned when two executions of the local process coincide.

However, if the server has not received status information for a long time, and the local process log files indicate that the error has been occurring in all executions for a long time, it could be an indication of blocking in the local process.

Type of error

Information. It will be displayed only in the Waltest log file.

Solution

Restart the Panda Endpoint Local Process Manager service. To do this:

  • Go to Start >> Run and write: services.msc. Press Enter.
  • Find the Panda Endpoint Local Process Manager service, place the pointer on this service, right-click and select Restart
  • If the service does not stop, go to the Task Manager, select the process WASLpMng and stop it. Then restart the Panda Endpoint Local Process Manager service.

On installing or updating the protection, or updating the Panda CloudOffice Protection communications agent, error 2112 occurs.

Cause

The protection installer or upgrader does not match the computer platform architecture (32 or 64-bit Edition).

This can happen if the agent incorrectly identified the system as 32 or 64 bits, or if the installation/upgrade was run manually from a downloaded package, and not using the installer for the right platform.

Elements to check

There are different protection installers for 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows. The right version for the actual platform must be used. If you are attempting to install or upgrade the protection with a package downloaded on another computer, note that they may have different architectures or that the architecture may not be supported.

To see a list of supported architectures and windows versions, please check the requirements necessary for running the installer are met.

Solution

Restart the installation and let the computer download the right installer for the protection.
